The report said firefighters had a hard time fighting the blaze as many people gathered to watch the fire, even as sales clerks tried to rush back into the burning building to save merchandise. No one was reported injured in the fire, which was initially monitored at the rooftop area. The upper floors of the department store building housed appliances and mattresses. Earlier, a report on Q-11 television said the fire started at the storage room and rooftop, even as firefighters and water delivery trucks rushed to the area.
